Who We are

Danielle Andreoli

Founder/Market Co-ordinator

Family has always come first for my husband and I, so when we relocated back home to the Territory in 2012  I knew that when/if I returned to work I wanted to do something that would work around my family and our busy schedules.

It was important for me to be there for school drop off and pick up, as well as all of the moments in between.

My photography business lead me to a volunteer position within the event industry and I worked closely with a group of women to organise an event that focused on supporting local businesses run by a large percentage of stay at home families.

I found working with small businesses so rewarding. I loved that I was working with real people who were busting their butts to support their families and put food on the table.

Every single one of them was attempting to forge their own path in a bid to find the ultimate work/life balance for their family.

I felt a great sense of pride supporting them on their journeys and it filled my cup on so many levels.

I knew early on I wanted to do everything I could to support them.

Over the years my business has evolved time and time again. Women (and men) who started out as small-time stallholders are now operating booming businesses and many of them have been able to stay home with their kids or left traditional jobs to focus on their businesses. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy knowing that I’ve been a part of that journey.

In 2019 our event supported 125 local businesses. That is 125 Mums, Dads, Grandma’s and other individuals within the Darwin Region (some from Katherine too) all doing something they love and feel passionate about.

If you come to our event I think you realise rather quickly that our event is unique within the Darwin event industry. It has a certain element of magic about the way we come together and support each other and truely believe that is magnified out into our customers and the local market community.

We love our community..

I applied for Zuccoli Plaza Markets when we moved to Darwin at the start of the year. The market atmosphere is awesome and the organizer and stallholders feel more like friends.
I also love that it is a fortnightly it gives us a full weekend without families but it is not too much time between markets like monthly ones. It is a great work -life balance.

We are very grateful to have been a part of these markets for over 12 months.

Dani has supported our little biz from day one. We would not have been able to achieve the exposure and growth we have been so lucky we have, if it wasn’t for this fantastic local event that she has created.

The atmosphere is always great, we’ve made many new friends and just love how supportive everybody is of each other.  We look forward to many more markets to come.
